Like a lot of Fathers in Utah, I walked into the courtroom expecting fairness-and walked out wondering what just happened…

This site exists to support dads in Utah going through or contemplating the divorce process. From legal guidance to emotional recovery, this is a space built by a dad who’s been through the system-and saw firsthand how stacked it can feel.

In my case I knew it was going to be a battle with my ex, however what I didn’t realize was that the bigger battle was going to be against the courts, their outdated thinking, and their antiquated court system. What I expected was an impartial, reasonable court, that would easily see the evidence presented, absorb the situation, and then make fair conclusions and fair decisions that would make our situation better-not worse. But what I found was a court system stacked against me. I committed no abuse, no neglect, was fully invested in my role as a father, and for no reason, I watched the court give my ex the benefit of the doubt over and over again.

This website is something I wish had been available to me before it all started…. the learning curve has been steep, and expensive.
